A native of Lewiston and the firm’s senior partner, Mr. Gosselin concentrates his practice in residential and commercial real estate, corporate and business law. He has extensive experience in the examination of titles and resolution of title issues and is an agent for First American Title Insurance Company. He is a member of the Real Estate and Title Sections of the Maine State Bar Association and has achieved the highest peer rating (AV) from the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory.
Mr. Gosselin earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maine School of Law cum laude in 1976. He received a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Notre Dame summa cum laude in 1973, where he was admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He began his career as an associate with Attorney Robert L. Couturier in 1976 and was a partner with the firm of Marshall, Raymond, Dionne, Bonneau & Gosselin until 1987, when he and Attorneys Paul R. Dionne and Norman L. Croteau founded the current firm of Gosselin & Dubord.
Mr. Gosselin has been active in community affairs throughout his career, including service as chair of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, the Lewiston Planning Board, the Lewiston Mill Redevelopment Corporation and the Androscoggin County Bar Association and member of numerous other boards and committees.
Mr. Gosselin resides in Lewiston with his wife Joanne and has two grown sons.
